Oku-Tama Station
is a passenger railway station in the town of Okutama, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It is the western-most station in the Tokyo Metropolis. Lines Oku-Tama Station is the western terminal station, terminus of the Ōme Line, located 37.2 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Tachikawa Station. Lake Okutama
is in Tokyo and Yamanashi Prefectures in Japan. Lying above the Ogōchi Dam, it is also known as the Ogōchi Reservoir. Lake Okutama is an important source of drinking water for Tokyo. Tama River
The is a major river in Yamanashi, Kanagawa and Tokyo Prefectures on Honshū, Japan. It is officially classified as a Class 1 river by the Japanese government. Its total length is , and the total of the river's basin area spans . The river flows through Tokyo, on the dividing line between Tokyo and Kanagawa. Mount Daibosatsu
Mount Daibosatsu (大菩薩嶺) stands in the Yamanashi side of Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park. The peak itself is in Kōshū, Yamanashi. It is high. Daibosatsu Pass divides Kōshū from Kosuge Village. Trails lead to the top from Kōshū, Tabayama, and Kosuge. Daibosatsu is one of the 100 Famous Mountains of Japan. Outline The mountain originally took a part of Ōme Kaidō in Edo era, used as carrying lime from Kai Province where produces lime to Edo. And, Edo bakufu established Taba-shuku near Mount Daibosatsu. Geography Kosuge is located in the mountainous far northeastern corner of Yamanashi Prefecture.
