Oklahoma Secretary Of Transportation
The Oklahoma secretary of transportation is a member of the Oklahoma Governor's Cabinet. The secretary is appointed by the governor, with the consent of the Oklahoma Senate, to serve at the pleasure of the governor. The secretary serves as the chief advisor to the governor on land, water, air and space traffic transportation needs and infrastructure. The current secretary of transportation is Tim Gatz (transport director), Tim Gatz, a professional landscape architect with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, who was appointed by Governor Kevin Stitt in 2019. Phil Tomlinson
Phil Tomlinson was an American politician from the state of Oklahoma who served as the Oklahoma Secretary of Transportation from 2003 to 2009. Tomlinson served as Transportation Secretary under Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry. In addition to serving as Transportation Secretary, Tomlinson served the Henry Administration as the Director of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority from 2005 to 2009. Biography Tomlinson was a commercial real estate investor from Shawnee, Oklahoma. Prior to his service to Governor Henry, Tomlinson served in the administrations of Republican Governor Dewey F. Mary Fallin
Mary Fallin (; née Copeland; born December 9, 1954) is an American politician who served as the 27th governor of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2019. David Walters
David Lee Walters (born November 20, 1951) is an American politician who was the 24th governor of Oklahoma from 1991 to 1995. Born in Canute, Oklahoma, Walters was a project manager for Governor David Boren and the youngest executive officer working for the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He also worked in commercial real estate. Henry Bellmon
Henry Louis Bellmon (September 3, 1921 – September 29, 2009) was an American Republican Party (United States), Republican politician from the U.S. State of Oklahoma. A member of the Oklahoma Legislature, he went on to become both the 18th and 23rd governor of Oklahoma, mainly in the 1960s and again in the 1980s, as well as a two-term United States Senator in the 1970s. He was the first Republican to serve as Governor of Oklahoma and, after his direct predecessor George Nigh, only the second governor to be reelected. Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority
The Oklahoma Space Industry Development Authority (OSIDA) is a development authority created by the state of Oklahoma to operate a spaceport near Burns Flat, Oklahoma. The Authority's primary asset is the former Clinton-Sherman Industrial Airpark, a former military airport featuring a redundant 13,503-foot-long paved runway. The airpark has been renamed the ''Oklahoma Air & Space Port''. Although the Oklahoma Spaceport received a Commercial Space Transportation license from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration in June 2006, the Spaceport has not yet hosted any sub-orbital spaceflights or launches of spacecraft into earth orbit. J. Michael Patterson is a former Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. Patterson was appointed ODOT Director by the Oklahoma Transportation Commission in March 2013, succeeding retiring Director Gary Ridley. Career Mike Patterson earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Master's degree in Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma. Patterson first worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (then known as the State Highway Department) in 1970 as a summer intern.
