, better known as , is a Japanese comedian represented by Watanabe Entertainment. His wife is singer Akina. Ōki was a member of the comedy duo Bibiru. He graduated from Kasukabe City Tanihara Junior High School and Seibudai Chiba Junior & Senior High School. Ōki is an ambassador for Kusakabe and Hagi Furusato. was a Japanese actor and singer who appeared in many films and television series. Life He was born in Beppu, Ōita, as . Because of his parents' divorce, he left his home and went to Tokyo. In the same year, he debuted as a film actor at the Nikkatsu studio. In 1969, he received the Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year. Oki was playing lead role in Toshiya Fujita (director), Toshiya Fujita's film " Wet Sand in August" but was forced to drop off in a motorcycle accident while shooting. Oki Kibatarō
was an engineer formerly employed at a Japanese Ministry of Industry (Japan), Ministry of Industry (''Kōbushō'') factory. In 1877, only a year after Alexander Graham Bell's invention, ''Kōbushō'' had started an effort to make telephone receivers by reverse engineering and Oki was in the team that came up with the first prototype. In January 1881, convinced that the nation was about to enter the age of communications, Oki founded Meikōsha, which was later renamed Oki Electric Industry. Itaru Oki
was a Japanese jazz trumpeter and flugelhornist. Oki was born in Kobe. He began studying koto as a child, under instruction from his mother, who was a professional kotoist. He took up trumpet from 1955 and played in high school bands, then enrolled at Osaka Industrial University, where he majored in architecture and concurrently played in Dixieland jazz ensembles. Early in his career, Oki studied under Fumio Nanri, Kenny Dorham, and Sadao Watanabe, and in the 1960s and 1970s played with Nobusuke Miyamoto, Yoku Tamura, Kosuke Mine, and Akio Nishimura. In 1966, he was a cofounder of ESSG, along with Masahiko Sato, Mototeru Takagi, and Masahiko Togashi. Kodomo No Omocha
, also known as ''Kodocha'' for short, is a Japanese manga series by Miho Obana. The series was adapted as an OVA by J.C. Staff and released on December 16, 1995 by Shueisha under their Ribon Video label. An anime television series was produced by NAS and TV Tokyo, animated by Studio Gallop, and broadcast on TV Tokyo every Friday from April 5, 1996 to March 27, 1998. In 2002, the manga was published in North America in English by Tokyopop as ''Kodocha: Sana's Stage''. In 2006, Tokyopop lost the license to the manga, leaving it out of print.
