is a Japanese rock band, formed in 2006. They made their major label debut on May 26, 2010, and were signed by Ariola Japan. Career Okamoto's was formed by four junior high school students. Fans of influential Japanese avant-garde artist Tarō Okamoto, the members took a cue from The Ramones and each adopted stage names with the surname Okamoto. Okamoto's made their recording debut with an appearance on the Columbia compilation "Here Come the Modernity" in February 2009, then followed it up in June with their debut album, ''Here Are Okamoto's''. was a Japanese artist, art theorist, and writer. He is particularly well known for his avant-garde paintings and public sculptures and murals, and for his theorization of traditional Japanese culture and avant-garde artistic practices. Scott Hamilton (born September 12, 1954) is an American jazz tenor saxophonist associated with swing and straight-ahead jazz. His eldest son, Shō Īmura, is the vocalist of the Japanese rock band Okamoto's. Career He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. Hamilton began to play the tenor saxophone at the age of sixteen. In 1976, he moved to New York City and played with Benny Goodman at the end of the decade. Most often he has been the leader of bands. He has worked with Ruby Braff and Warren Vache. He recorded his first significant jazz album as a leader for Chiaroscuro in 1977. Japan Nite is an annual music event in North America which began in 1996, featuring Japanese rock, pop, and alternative music artists. Originally centered around South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, the event expanded in later years to include multi-city tours of the United States, and has often been the first US performance for the participating artists. History Japan Nite was conceived by Hiroshi Asada, former manager of Pizzicato Five, and Audrey Kimura, the founder of the independent Japanese label Benten. Masatoshi Hamada
is a Japanese comedian best known as the '' tsukkomi'' half of the popular owarai duo Downtown alongside Hitoshi Matsumoto. His nickname is . Hamada is married to Natsumi Ogawa, with whom he has two children. Early life Hamada was born near Daikokucho Station in Naniwa-ku, Osaka to Kengoro and Nobuko Hamada. His family moved to Amagasaki, Hyōgo Prefecture before entering a kindergarten. There, he attended Ushio Elementary School and met Hitoshi Matsumoto.
