Oisín O'Reilly
Oisín O'Reilly (born 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays for Limerick Senior Championship club Kilmallock. He usually lines out as a full-forward. O'Reilly is a former member of the Limerick senior hurling team. Playing career Club O'Reilly joined the Kilmallock club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels, before joining the club's senior team. Inter-county Minor and under-21 O'Reilly first played for Limerick at minor level. On 2 July 2015, he made his first appearance for the team when he came on as a late substitute in Limerick's 1-14 to 0-14 Munster Championship defeat of Cork. O'Reilly subsequently joined the Limerick under-21 hurling team in 2016 and played during the team's unsuccessful championship campaign. He was included on the panel again the following season and won a Munster Championship medal after a 0-16 to 1-11 defeat of Cork in the final. Kilmallock
Kilmallock () is a town in south County Limerick, Ireland, near the border with County Cork. There is a Dominican Priory in the town and King's Castle (or King John's Castle). The remains of medieval walls which encircled the settlement are still visible. History Foundation and development Saint Mocheallóg built a church in the area in the early 7th century, and the town's name derives from the Irish ''Cill Mocheallóg'' meaning "the church of Mocheallóg". The town was of considerable importance in the late medieval period, ranking as one of the main urban areas in Ireland at the time. The Collegiate Church of St Peter and St Paul was built by 1241. Kilmallock was located in a position of some strategic importance, and in consequence the town frequently became a target during times of war. National Hurling League
The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into six divisions, with either five or six teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league. Although primarily a competition for Irish teams, teams from England – currently Lancashire GAA, Lancashire, London GAA, London and Warwickshire GAA, Warwickshire – also take part, while in the past New York GAA, New York also fielded a team for the latter stages of the league. 2017 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship
The 2017 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship was the 54th staging of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1964. The championship began on 24 May 2017 and ended on 9 September 2017. Waterford entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were defeated by Cork in the Munster semi-final. Meath fielded a team in the championship for the first time in several seasons. On 9 September 2017, Limerick won the championship following a 0-17 to 0-11 defeat of Kilkenny in the All-Ireland final. This was their fifth All-Ireland title overall and their first in two championship seasons. The 2018 Munster Senior Hurling League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League, was the third Munster Senior Hurling League, an annual hurling league competition for county teams from the province of Munster. The league began on 30 December 2017 and ended on 14 January 2018. Cork were the defending champions. Tipperary and Waterford did not participate in the league. On 14 January 2018, Limerick won the league title following a 0-16 to 0-10 defeat of Clare. It was their first Munster SHL title. The 2018 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 131st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. It is the first tier of senior inter-county championship hurling. The championship began on 12 May 2018 and ended on 19 August 2018. The draw for the championship round-robin fixtures was held off camera on 19 October 2017 and announced on the championship draw broadcast on RTÉ2. The Championship was won by Limerick, who were crowned champions after overcoming Galway in the final by a score line of 3–16 to 2-18. 2019 National Hurling League
The 2019 National Hurling League is the 88th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Kilkenny were the defending champions, having won the 2018 league. The GAA announced a new broadcast agreement on 10 January 2019 that runs from 2019 until 2022. Eir Sport and RTÉ provide live TV coverage of the league on Saturday nights. TG4 broadcast Sunday afternoon games. The highlights programmes are RTÉ2's ''League Sunday'' on Sunday evenings, TG4's ''GAA 2019'' on Monday evenings and Eir Sport's Allianz Leagues Reloaded on Wednesday evenings. Galway GAA
The Galway County Boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae na Gaillimhe) or Galway GAA are one of the 32 county boards in Ireland; they are responsible for Gaelic games in County Galway, and for the Galway county teams.
