Oi Kwan Hotel
The Oi Kwan Hotel () is a hotel in Art Deco style in Guangzhou Guangzhou (, ; ; or ; ), also known as Canton () and alternatively romanized as Kwongchow or Kwangchow, is the capital and largest city of Guangdong province in southern China. Located on the Pearl River about north-northwest of Hong Kon ..., China. At 64 metres tall with 15 floors, it surpassed the neighbouring Nanfang Building to become the tallest building in the city from upon its completion in 1937 to 1967. Art Deco, short for the French ''Arts Décoratifs'', and sometimes just called Deco, is a style of visual arts, architecture, and product design, that first appeared in France in the 1910s (just before World War I), and flourished in the United States and Europe during the 1920s and 1930s.
