Pete Ohler
Peter Ohler (December 29, 1940 – June 7, 2021) was a Canadian football quarterback, coach, and art dealer working primarily with Canadian historic art. He played five seasons with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League. Ohler attended Vancouver College for high school, playing basketball and football. Upon graduating, he first enrolled at Wenatchee Community College before transferring to the University of Washington. Ohler was also a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He was a member of the BC Lions team that won the 52nd Grey Cup. Professional football career BC Lions Following a successful run with the Washington Huskies while at the University of Washington, where he studied English with a focus on poetry, Ohler joined the BC Lions in 1963. The family-run company dates back to a shop founded in 1873 by Karl Kastner and Herman Öhler. Aloys Karl Ohler
Aloys Karl Ohler was a Germans, German Catholic cleric and educationist. Biography He was born at Mainz on 2 January 1817. He attended the Gymnasium (school), gymnasium at Mainz, studied theology at Gießen, and was ordained a Roman Catholic priest at Mainz on 14 August 1839. His first charge was that of chaplain at Seligenstadt. Like his colleague, Christoph Moufang, he was one of the founders and teachers of the Progymnasium of that city. He became spiritual director of St. Rochus Hospital at Mainz in 1845, and pastor at Abenheim near Worms, Germany, Worms in 1847. On 21 June 1852, he was appointed director of the Hessian Catholic teachers' training college at Bensheim. During the fifteen years of his administration, encouraged by Bishop von Ketteler, Ohler laboured to infuse a better spirit into the Catholic teaching body of Hesse.
