Ohio House Of Representatives
The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. Members are limited to four successive two-year elected terms (terms are considered successive if they are separated by less than four years). Time served by appointment to fill out another representative's uncompleted term does not count against the term limit. There are 99 members in the house, elected from single-member districts. Michael O'Brien (Ohio Politician)
Michael J. O'Brien (born June 18, 1955) is the Representative of the 64th district of the Ohio House of Representatives. O'Brien is a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley and graduate from John F. Kennedy High School as well as Youngstown State University. O'Brien served on Warren City Council from 1983 to 1993 before being elected as a Trumbull County Commissioner in 1994. He served as a commissioner for ten years before being elected Mayor of Warren in 2005, serving until 2012. O'Brien announced in early 2014 that he would seek a seat in the Ohio House of Representatives to replace Tom Letson who was term-limited. He would win a three-way primary race with 60% of the vote for the Democratic nomination. Teresa Fedor
Teresa Fedor (born May 26, 1956) is an American politician from Ohio. She was a member of the Ohio Senate, representing the 11th district from 2019 until her resignation in 2022. A member of the Ohio General Assembly since 2001, Fedor previously represented the same seat in the Senate from 2003 to 2010, and was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for five nonconsecutive terms, serving from 2001 to 2002, and again from 2011 to 2018. Heather Bishoff
Heather Bishoff is a former Democratic Party (United States), Democratic member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 20th district. She was elected in 2012, defeating Republican Party (United States), Republican Nathan Burd with 59.28% of the vote. Previously she defeated Marco Miller to win the Democratic primary. Hearcel F. Craig (born July 1, 1949) is an American politician serving as the Senator for the 15th District of the Ohio State Senate. Craig formerly served in the United States Army and then had a career with the Ohio Department of Youth Services. He then went on to help develop City Year in Columbus. Ron Young (born August 20, 1946) is a Commissioner for Lake County, Ohio and is a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives serving from 2011 to 2018 and again from 1997 to 2004. Terry Johnson (Ohio Politician)
Terry Johnson (born June 4, 1956) is an American politician serving as a member of the Ohio Senate from the 14th District.
