Ogo Bodhu Shundori
''Ogo Bodhu Shundori'' ( bn, ওগো বধূ সুন্দরী ; English: ''Hey Beautiful Bride'') is a 1981 Bengali comedy film, directed by Salil Dutta. It was the last film of the iconic Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, who died during production. A lookalike, Prabir Kumar, was brought in to stand in for Uttam Kumar during the final sections of the film. The film was produced by RD Bansal. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri. This was the second Bengali film after '' Dadu'' and the only Uttam Kumar film where Lahiri composed music. The movie is a Bengali reworking of the story of '' Pygmalion'', heavily drawing upon the British musical ''My Fair Lady''. Salil Dutta
Salil Dutta (30 November 1931 – 20 September 2004) was an Indian Bengalis, Bengali director, screenwriter and actor. He is well known for his films Surya Sikha (1963), Stree (1972) and Seyi Chokh (1976). Career Dutta was born in 1931 in British India. He started his career as assistant director of ''Trijama'' in 1956 and ''Khokababur Pratyabartan'' in 1960. The first film directed by him is Surya Sikha (1963) starred Uttam Kumar and Supriya Choudhury. He also acted in a number of films like ''Atithi (1965 film)'', ''Khelaghar'', ''Dhanyee Meye'' etc. Dutta directed 22 Bengali films in his career. Bikash Roy (16 May 1916 – 16 April 1987) was an Indian actor and filmmaker who is known for his work in Bengali cinema. He is well known for his character roles and for his own style of acting in Bengali films from the late 1940s until the mid-1980s.
