Ofrynio
Ofrynio ( el, Οφρύνιο) is a village and part of the municipal unit of Orfano in the southwest of the Kavala regional unit, Greece. The village has a population of 758 (2011). With the Kapodistrias program, it joined the Orfano municipality, and formerly belonged to the community of Ofrynio. East Macedonia And Thrace
Eastern Macedonia and Thrace ( el, Ανατολική Μακεδονία και Θράκη, translit=Anatolikí Makedonía ke Thráki, ) is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece. Kavala ( el, Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Καβάλας, ''Perifereiakí Enótita Kaválas'') is one of the regional units of Greece. It is part of East Macedonia and Thrace. Its capital is the city of Kavala. Kavala regional unit is the easternmost within the geographical region of Macedonia. Geography The Pangaio mountains, reaching 1,957 m are situated in the west. The neighbouring regional units are Serres to the west, Drama to the north and Xanthi to the east. The river Nestos flows along the eastern border. Arable lands are located along the coastline, in the north and in the east. The regional unit has a predominantly Mediterranean climate. Orfani ( el, Ορφάνι, formerly Ορφάνιον - Orfanion) is a village and a former municipality in the Kavala regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Pangaio Pangaio ( el, Παγγαίο) is a municipality in the Kavala regional unit, Greece, named after the Pangaion hills.
