''Offerings'' is a 1989 American slasher film written, produced and directed by Christopher Reynolds. Plot John Radley's childhood was not a particularly nice one; his father's abandonment, an abusive mother, bullied by neighborhood kids and his pets had a tendency to die on him. Only his first crush Gretchen ever treated him with kindness. But this all ended when he was goaded into performing a balancing act, whereupon a malicious prank backfired and Johnny ended up plunging down a dried up well to greet a rock floor. Since then he has been in Oakhurst State mental hospital for over a decade. Left semi-comatose, he has only his now-distorted memories and nightmarish flashbacks for comfort. One night the continual flood of harsh images is too much for his psyche, and he comes to find himself badly disfigured and severely brain damaged, so much so that he can no longer feel any pain. Offerings (Typhoon Album)
''Offerings'' is the fourth studio album by American indie rock band Typhoon. It was released in January 2018. This was the second studio album released under Roll Call Records. Morton described the album as being broken into four movements: Floodplains, Flood, Reckoning, and Afterparty. In a promotional tweet, the band describes the album as: Background In an interview with Sound of Boston, violinist Shannon Steele explained that the album came out of a long break from playing live shows and the changes in the band makeup, noting: "One of the first songs that Kyle brought to the group to start working out was Empiricist. It had such a heavy, grungy feel that we all were really enthusiastic about." The record was produced by Morton, and features some of his field recordings. A Worship Album

Vas (band)
Vas was an alternative world musical group which consisted of Persian vocalist Azam Ali and American percussionist Greg Ellis. Vas is frequently compared to the Australian band Dead Can Dance. The band released four full-length albums, and both artists have released a few solo albums and participated in side projects. After the group's last album, ''Feast of Silence'', Ali and Ellis went their own separate ways. Azam Ali was born in Iran and moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1985, where she began studying the dulcimer-like santur under the guidance of Manoochehr Sadeghi. Greg Ellis was born and raised in Los Gatos, California, where he first learned to play the drums at age twelve. Ellis moved to Los Angeles in 1984 and started work as a percussionist. The two musicians met at UCLA in 1995 after hearing each other perform; they formed Vas shortly thereafter.
