Rob De Luca is an American bassist, vocalist, songwriter and producer, best known for playing in UFO and as a founding member of Spread Eagle. He has also toured with Sebastian Bach, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Of Earth and Helmet. Early years De Luca started playing guitar at the age of 15. He first played bass in a band called Bang. When the members of Bang met vocalist Ray West, Spread Eagle was born. Spread Eagle Spread Eagle formed in 1989 and after just a few months of rehearsals they signed a record deal with MCA/Universal Records. They have released three albums: their debut ''Spread Eagle'' in 1990, ''Open to the Public'' in 1993 and ''Subway to the Stars'' in 2019. The debut album was recently voted as one of the top 20 glam albums of all time (along with Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe, Hanoi Rocks and Skid Row). ''The Salentino Cuts'' is the 22nd studio album (and first covers album) by British rock band UFO. The album was released on Cleopatra Records on 29 September 2017. It was the final studio release by the band prior to the 2019 death of guitarist/keyboardist Paul Raymond. In reference to the album title, Bassist Rob De Luca stated “We recorded the album in Hannover, Germany. We would often end up at an Italian restaurant afterward to eat, drink, hang and plan out the next day. The restaurant is called Salentino's. Pete Way
Peter Frederick Way (7 August 1950 – 14 August 2020) was an English hard rock and heavy metal bassist. He was bassist for the rock band UFO from 1968 to 1982; Way rejoined the band briefly in 1988–1989, and full-time from 1991 to 2008. He was also a founding member of Waysted and Fastway and notably played with Michael Schenker Group and Ozzy Osbourne. Career Pete Way grew up in Enfield, London. He started playing bass guitar in bands with friends from high school. He and guitarist Mick Bolton became friends and they and a drummer formed their first serious band, The Boyfriends.
