Oedignatha Uncata
''Oedignatha'' is a genus of Asian spiders first described by Tamerlan Thorell in 1881 as a genus of Corinnidae, corinnid sac spiders, and moved to Liocranidae in 2014. Species it contains thirty-seven species in Southeast Asia, several of which were transferred from other genera, including ''O. aleipata'' from ''Storena'', ''O. andamanensis'' & ''O. raigadensis'' from ''Amaurobius'', ''O. proboscidea'' from ''Corinna (spider), Corinna'', and ''O. ferox'' from the former Monotypic taxon, monotypic genus ''Aepygnatha''. *''Oedignatha affinis'' Eugène Simon, Simon, 1897 – Sri Lanka *''Oedignatha albofasciata'' Embrik Strand, Strand, 1907 – India *''Oedignatha aleipata'' (Brian J. Tamerlan Thorell
Tord Tamerlan Teodor Thorell (3 May 1830 – 22 December 1901) was a Sweden, Swedish arachnologist. Thorell studied spiders with Giacomo Doria at the Museo Civico di Storia Naturale de Genoa. He corresponded with other arachnologists, such as Octavius Pickard-Cambridge, Eugène Simon and Thomas Workman (entomologist), Thomas Workman. He described more than 1,000 spider species during his time from the 1850 to 1900. Thorell wrote: ''On European Spiders'' (1869) and ''Synonym of European Spiders'' (1870-73).
