Cold (band)
Cold is an American rock band, from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1986 by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Scooter Ward, drummer Sam McCandless, bassist Jeremy Marshall and lead guitarist Matt Loughran. The band has gone through numerous lineup changes during its existence, with Ward being the band’s only constant member. After signing to Flip Records/A&M Records, Cold released their debut album ''Cold'' (1998), which sold poorly due to the closure of A&M shortly after its release, resulting in the band moving to Geffen Records. London After Midnight is an American rock band from California. Formed in 1990 by songwriter and instrumentalist Sean Brennan, London After Midnight has a following worldwide, with a large fan base in the goth subculture. However, in interviews Brennan has shunned the use of this label and others to describe his music, calling it "artistically limiting". Ideology and themes Brennan is known for his support of animal rights, pro-environmental and human rights issues, anti-corporate control of media, and progressive and liberal politics. Bride is an American Christian metal band formed in the 1980s, by brothers Dale and Troy Thompson. During the band's peak years it was known for covering a wide range of musical styles and remains popular in places like Brazil. Their song "Same 'Ol Sinner" is on the Digital Praise PC game '' Guitar Praise''. Band history Bride was formed in Louisville, Kentucky in the early 1980s, by brothers Dale and Troy Thompson. Going by the name Matrix at first, the brothers started writing music and recording demos in 1983. They recorded four demos and started selling them at concerts and through magazines. ''Oddities'' is a half-hour documentary/reality television program which follows the operation of an East Village, Manhattan shop which trades in antiques and other rarities. The show premiered on November 4, 2010, and airs on the Discovery Channel and its sister network, the Science Channel. ''Oddities'' focuses on the day-to-day operation of Obscura Antiques & Oddities, and stars co-owners Mike Zohn and Evan Michelson and buyer Ryan Matthew Cohn, with appearances by other employees and customers. The store's employees search flea markets, personal collections, auctions, and antique shows for unique and unusual artifacts. ''Oddity'' is an upcoming role-playing video game. Its development was first announced in 2008 as ''Mother 4'', an unofficial fan game in Nintendo's ''Mother'' series. Over the course of development, the game removed its ties to the series and rebranded as its own entity in early 2020. It has no set release date. Gameplay The game takes place in Pleiades, a fictional country based on the United States, during the early 1970s, as a boy named Travis Fields leaves his town of Belring to join three other characters, Meryl, Floyd, and Leo, to uncover the mystery surrounding the "Modern Men". Its music and visuals are similar in style to the ''Mother'' series. It features unreleased versions of songs that Kate & Anna McGarrigle had recorded on analogue tapes for various projects between 1973 and 1990.Sleeve notes from ''Kate & Anna McGarrigle – ODDiTTiES'', Querbeservice, 2010. It was first released in Canada on December 7, 2010, and in the UK and Europe on April 11, 2011.
