Odain Rose (born 19 July 1992 in Port Antonio, Jamaica) is a Jamaican-born Swedish athlete specialising in the sprinting events. His biggest success to date is the fifth place in the 60 metres at the 2013 European Indoor Championships. Born in Jamaica, Odain moved to Sweden with his mother at the age of three. 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships were held at Scandinavium and Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg, Sweden, on 1–3 March 2013. Bidding process The decision to grant the event for Gothenburg was made by the European Athletics Council at their long meeting in Malta on October 15, 2007. Initially, Gothenburg applied for the 2011 Championships against Paris. The European Athletic Association thought the two cities presented very good concepts, and it ended up with the two candidates get one championship each; Paris in 2011 and Gothenburg in 2013. Gothenburg will use the concept ''All under one roof''. The men's 60 metres at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships took place on March 18, 2016. Asafa Powell has spent a career where he was (until the advent of Usain Bolt), the fastest man in the world, but championships have evaded him.
