The Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy is a handball competition for Under 20 year old men and Under 19 year old women organised by the Oceania Continent Handball Federation. The winner of this competition qualifies for the Men's Junior World Handball Championship, Men's and Women's Junior World Handball Championship, Women's Junior World Handball Championship's. Oceania Continent Handball Federation
The Oceania Continent Handball Federation (OCHF) is the governing body for the Olympic sport of Handball in Oceania. It was founded in 2014 and is affiliated to the International Handball Federation (IHF). The OCHF is administered by an executive committee elected annually by its members. The OCHF members are the local governing Handball federations in countries within the Oceania region that are also members of the IHF. History The first Oceania Handball Federation (OHF) was founded on 9 July 1993, by Mr. Alexander Dimitric in Sydney, Australia. In 2009, the Oceania Handball Federation was disbanded. 2023 Oceania Women's Handball Challenge Trophy
The 2023 Women's Oceania Handball Challenge Trophy was held in New Caledonia from 16 to 21 October 2023. The competition participants were host New Caledonia, Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands and Tahiti. Tonga were scheduled to enter, but did not arrive. Hosts New Caledonia won their second championship from Tahiti.
