Production Writer-director Brad Hayward was inspired by the success of the film ''The Brothers McMullen'' and made the original cut for $40,000. Nicholas Bishop
Nicholas Bishop (born 19 September 1973) is an English-born Australian actor. He is best known for his television roles as Detective Peter Baker on the soap opera ''Home and Away'' (2004–07) and as Peter Dunlop on the ABC medical drama ''Body of Proof'' (2011-2012). Early life Bishop was born in Swindon, England. His parents emigrated to Australia when he was six months old and the family settled in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory. His father was a former Australian Army officer and diplomat. Bishop attended Radford College in Canberra. Bishop graduated from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a degree in performing arts (acting) in 1996, and has been a regular screen acting tutor there since 1997. Spiderbait is an Australian alternative rock band from Finley, New South Wales, formed in 1991 by bass guitarist and singer Janet English, drummer and singer Kram (musician), Kram, and guitarist Damian Whitty. In 2004 the group's cover version of the 1930s Lead Belly song "Black Betty" reached number one on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Singles Chart. Jebediah are an Australian alternative rock band formed in 1994 in Perth, Western Australia. They were formed by Chris Daymond on lead guitar, Kevin Mitchell (aka Bob Evans) on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Vanessa Thornton on bass guitar. They were joined a year later by Kevin's older brother, Brett Mitchell, on drums. Grinspoon are an Australian Rock music, rock band from Lismore, New South Wales, formed in 1995 and fronted by Phil Jamieson on vocals and guitar with Pat Davern on guitar, Joe Hansen on bass guitar and Kristian Hopes on drums. Also in 1995, Grinspoon won the Triple J-sponsored Unearthed (talent contest), Unearthed competition for Lismore, with their post-grunge song "Grinspoon (EP), Sickfest".
