Obselidia
''Obselidia'' is a 2010 American drama film written and directed by Diane Bell, starring Michael Piccirilli, Gaynor Howe and Frank Hoyt Taylor. The film won two awards at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival: the Excellence in Cinematography award and the Alfred P. Sloan Prize. Plot On his quest to catalogue soon obsolete occupations, George (Piccirilli) a librarian joins forces with a silent film projectionist (Howe), and together they journey to Death Valley to interview a maverick scientist (Hoyt Taylor) who is predicting the imminent end of the world. Diane Bell (director)
Diane Bell is a Scottish filmmaker who works and resides in Los Angeles. Early life and education Bell grew up in Japan, Australia and Germany. She graduated with a master's degree in mental philosophy from the University of Edinburgh. She practices Ashtanga vinyasa yoga, Ashtanga yoga, and taught yoga in Barcelona, Spain. Career Her first film as writer/director, Obselidia, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2010 in Dramatic Narrative Competition and won two awards, the Alfred P. Sloan Award and Excellence in Cinematography. Zak Mulligan is an American film and television cinematographer. He is best known for his work on '' Hustle'', '' We the Animals'', '' The Outsider'', and '' Open Heart''. Career Mulligan was born and raised in Ohio. He started his film career in New York City shortly after studying Photography at Arizona State University. ''Adam'' is a 2009 American romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Max Mayer and starring Hugh Dancy and Rose Byrne.
