Oborishte Ridge
Oborishte Ridge (Rid Oborishte \'rid o-'bo-ri-shte\) has an elevation of 340 m in the southwest extremity of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. Extending 1.7 km along the southeast coast of Yankee Harbour and 950 m wide. Ice-free surface area (together with the adjoining Provadiya Hook) .L.L. Doris Cove ( bg, залив Дорис, zaliv Doris, ) is the 1.3 km wide cove indenting for 600 m the southwest coast of Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica south of Oborishte Ridge and northwest of Ephraim Bluff. Ephraim Bluff
Ephraim Bluff is a 425 m ice-free bluff in the south of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The bluff is linked to Razgrad Peak to the north-northeast and separates the termini of Wulfila Glacier to the northwest and Zheravna Glacier to the east. It surmounts Doris Cove on the northwest. The feature was charted and named 'Mount Ephraim' as early as 1820-22 by American sealers who used it as a lead mark for the nearby Yankee Harbour. Oborishte ( bg, Оборище) is a village located in the Panagyurishte municipality, Pazardzhik Province, western Bulgaria. It is relatively large for the region and has 1,307 inhabitants. Its name until 1950 was ''Mechka'' (Мечка), which in Bulgarian means "bear". Geography The village is situated in the mountain of Sredna Gora. The surrounding country is hilly, covered with forests of oak, beech and fir in which mushrooms are particularly abundant in the late summer and autumn. There are several micro dams located to the south and southwest of the village as well as a large dam to the north in which the refuse waters of Asarel Medet are accumulated. The road between Panagyurishte and Vakarel passes through the village. Settlements nearby include the town of Panagyurishte at 9 km to the east and the villages of Poibrene at 9 km to the west and Muhovo at 17 km to the south. Wulfila Glacier
Wulfila Glacier ( bg, ледник Вулфила, lednik Vulfila, ) is located on the southern slopes of Breznik Heights, Greenwich Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica, south-southwest of Solis Glacier and west of Zheravna Glacier. It is bounded by Oborishte Ridge to the northwest, Nevlya Peak to the north, Terter Peak and Razgrad Peak to the northeast, and Ephraim Bluff to the southeast. The glacier extends 3 km in northwest-southeast direction and 2 km in northeast-southwest direction. It drains southwestwards into McFarlane Strait between Ephraim Bluff and the base of Provadiya Hook, feeding the head of Doris Cove. The feature is named after Bishop Wulfila (311-383 AD) of Nicopolis ad Istrum (the present Bulgarian settlement of Nikyup near Veliko Tarnovo) who created the Gothic alphabet, and laid the foundations of the Germanic literature.
