The Obelis is a river of Ukmergė district municipality and Kėdainiai district municipality, central Lithuania. It flows for and has a basin area of . It is a left tributary of the Nevėžis near Kėdainiai. The river valley is 200–220 m wide and 8–14 m high. The width of the river course is 5–12 m. The rapidness of the current is 0,2–0,3 meters per second. There are Kapliai Reservoir, Bubliai Reservoir and Juodkiškiai Reservoir dammed on the Obelis river. It flows through Paobelys, Šėta, Aukštieji Kapliai, Aristava, Paobelys, and meets the Nevėžis in Kėdainiai. Lankesa
The Lankesa is a river in central Lithuania. It flows for and has a basin area of . It is a left tributary of the Obelis. It begins nearby Reniūnai village in Ukmergė District Municipality, then flows to the south west through Jonava District Municipality. Juodkiškiai Reservoir
The Juodkiškiai Reservoir is an artificial lake in Kėdainiai District Municipality, central Lithuania. It is located east from Kėdainiai, next to Taučiūnai village. It was created in 1980, when a dam on the Obelis river had been built next to Juodkiškiai, Kėdainiai, Juodkiškiai hamlet. In 1995, the dam was reconstructed and a small hydroelectric plant (of 510 kW) has been built. Shores of the reservoir are low, agriculture lands stretch around the lake. The Bubliai Reservoir and some smaller reservoirs (the Koliupė Reservoir, the Malčius Reservoir) empty into the Juodkiškiai Reservoir. The A8 highway (Lithuania), A8 highway crosses the lake. Paobelys (''Paobelė'', formerly russian: Поабель, pl, Poabele) is a village in Kėdainiai district municipality, in Kaunas County, in central Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 293 people.
