Obed Harvey
Obed Harvey Agbomadzie (born 1 June 1990) is a Ghanaian cricketer. He was named in Ghana's squad for the 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five tournament in South Africa. He played in Ghana's opening fixture, against Germany, on 3 September 2017. He scored the most runs for Ghana in the tournament, with a total of 153 runs in five matches. He also took the most wickets for Ghana, with a total of thirteen dismissals in five matches. All-rounder
An all-rounder is a cricketer who regularly performs well at both batting and bowling. Although all bowlers must bat and quite a handful of batsmen do bowl occasionally, most players are skilled in only one of the two disciplines and are considered specialists. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five
The 2017 ICC World Cricket League Division Five was an international cricket tournament that took place in Benoni, South Africa during September 2017. It formed part of the 2017–19 cycle of the World Cricket League (WCL) which determines the qualification for the 2023 Cricket World Cup. Jersey and the Netherlands were interested in hosting the tournament, but the International Cricket Council (ICC) awarded it to South Africa, due to the ease of securing visas for the teams involved. The teams were placed into two groups of four sides. Guernsey, Cayman Islands, Italy and Qatar are in Group A, and Germany, Ghana, Jersey and Vanuatu are in Group B. A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Ghanaian Cricket Team In Rwanda In 2021
The Ghana cricket team toured Rwanda in August 2021 to play a five-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series at the Gahanga International Cricket Stadium in Kigali. The series provided preparation for both teams ahead of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Africa Sub-Regional Qualifier, that was also played in Kigali in October 2021. The two games on the first day of the series were shared, with Rwanda winning the opener by one wicket before Ghana took victory in the second game by two wickets. The Rwandan national cricket team is the team that represents Rwanda in international cricket.
