Oakgrove is a district of Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, England, in the civil parishes in England, civil parish of Middleton, Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes. The district includes a small retail centre consisting of a Waitrose Supermarket, a Metro Bank (United Kingdom), Metro Bank branch, and other small services units. A large portion of the district is reserved as linear park to accommodate the flood plain of the river Ouzel, a tributary of the river Great Ouse. Location Oakgrove is bounded by the Milton Keynes grid road system, grid roads Brickhill St (V11) to the east, Chaffron Way (H7) to the south, and by the Ouzel to the west and north. Oakgrove is a small district because it is nominally in the same grid square as the Woolstone, Buckinghamshire, Woolstones (to its west) but is separated from them by the wide flood plain of the Ouzel, which is a linear park in normal times. Oakgrove Integrated College
Oakgrove Integrated College is an integrated secondary school based in Derry, Northern Ireland. Context Integrated Education is a Northern Ireland phenomenon, where traditionally schools were sectarian, either run as Catholic schools or Protestant schools. On as parental request, a school could apply to 'transition' to become Grant Maintained offering 30% of the school places to students from the minority community. Lagan College was the first integrated school to open in 1981. History The college, which was formed with the hope of integrating young people from both sides of Northern Ireland's religious divide, opened in September 1991. Marie Cowan was the principal when it opened in the old Housing Executive offices at Limavady Road. It then moved to an old red brick building at the Gransha Hospital in September 1992.
