The Mozambican War of Independence ( pt, Guerra da Independência de Moçambique, 'War of Independence of Mozambique') was an armed conflict between the guerrilla forces of the Mozambique Liberation Front or FRELIMO () and Portugal. The war officially started on September 25, 1964, and ended with a ceasefire on September 8, 1974, resulting in a negotiated independence in 1975. Sol de Carvalho (João Luís Sol de Carvalho, born 1953) is a Mozambican film director and producer. Biography He grew up in Inhambane and later attended in Lisbon the Escola de Cinema do Conservatório, forerunner of the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. When Mozambique became independent in 1975, he worked as director of the Serviço Nacional da Rádio Moçambique (). From 1979 he was a journalist for the Mozambican magazine ''Tempo'' with journalist, poet and writer Mia Couto and Albino Magaia. Camilo de Sousa (born 29 May 1953) is a film-maker from Mozambique, and has participated in hundreds of cinematographic productions, variously as producer, director, or first assistant. He is particularly noted for co-directing the feature film ''O Tempo dos Leopardos''. Biography Camilo de Sousa was born and educated in the capital of Mozambique, Lourenço Marques (now known as Maputo). From 1968 he developed an interest in photography, and soon became a photojournalist for the local newspaper ''O Jornal''. But in 1972 he fled to Belgium as a refugee through the UNHCR. In 1973 he returned to Africa, travelling to Tanzania and joining the Mozambique Liberation Front to fight for Mozambique's independence. Flavia Maxima Fausta ''Augusta'' (289–326 AD) was a Roman empress. She was the daughter of Maximian and second wife of Constantine the Great, who had her executed and excluded from all official accounts for unknown reasons. Historians Zosimus and Zonaras reported that she was executed for adultery with her stepson, Crispus. Family Fausta was the daughter of Emperor Maximian. To seal the alliance between them for control of the Tetrarchy, in 307 Maximianus married her to Constantine I, who set aside his wife, Minervina, in her favour.
