''O My Heart'' (Stylised as "''O My ♡''") is the second album by Vancouver-based indie rock band Mother Mother, released in 2008. Videos for the songs "O My Heart", "Body of Years", and "Hayloft" were released. In late 2020, "Hayloft", "Arms Tonite", and "Wrecking Ball" went viral on the video-sharing app TikTok. "Oh My Heart" is a song by American alternative rock band R.E.M. It was released as the fourth single from the band's fifteenth studio album ''Collapse into Now'' on February 1, 2011. Indie Rock
Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Originally used to describe independent record labels, the term became associated with the music they produced and was initially used interchangeably with alternative rock or "Pop rock, guitar pop rock". One of the primary scenes of the movement was Dunedin, where Dunedin sound, a cultural scene based around a convergence of noise pop and jangle became popular among the city's University of Otago, large student population. Mother Mother
Mother Mother is a Canadian indie rock band based in Quadra Island, British Columbia. The band consists of Ryan Guldemond on guitar and vocals, Molly Guldemond and Jasmin Parkin on vocals and keyboard, Ali Siadat on drums, and Mike Young on bass. Longtime bassist Jeremy Page left the band in 2016. In 2005, they independently released their self-titled debut album under the band name Mother.
