OTT (group)
OTT were an Ireland, Irish boy band of the mid-late 1990s. The five members were Niall O'Neill, Alan Fitzsimons, Alan Mates (known as 'Adam' in the band), Glen Clarke and Keith Cox. They were signed to Sony Music and had a number of chart hits in Irish Singles Chart, Ireland and the UK Singles Chart, UK. After three top ten single releases in Ireland, they attempted to break the UK market minus Keith Cox, who had left for family reasons. Although moderately successful in the UK, the band became well known in Asia with sales of up to 250,000 copies of their debut album. After being dropped by Sony in the late 1990s, the band called it a day. O'Neill now runs a multi-media company in Dublin, having worked at a Spanish tourist resort, Fitzsimons works in the Mobile Communications industry, Mates is an Interior Designer, and Clarke lives in the United States. Dublin
Dublin (; , or ) is the capital and largest city of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. "Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)" is a 1975 single by The Stylistics. It reached number one for three weeks in the UK in August 1975. After splitting from record producer Thom Bell in 1974, songwriters/producers Hugo & Luigi and George David Weiss took over, with arrangements by Van McCoy. Although the split with Bell negatively affected the group in the US, The Stylistics continued to be popular in the UK and this was their first and only UK number one single. The track reached number 51 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and number 18 on the corresponding US R&B chart. ''The Voice of Ireland'' is the Irish edition of the international TV franchise ''The Voice'', a reality singing competition created by media tycoon John de Mol. The first series began airing from 8 January 2012 on RTÉ One. The coaches originally were Bressie, Sharon Corr, Kian Egan and Brian Kennedy. Kennedy left after the first series and was replaced by Jamelia. After the second series, Corr quit the show owing to other commitments and was replaced by Dolores O'Riordan. Following series 3, Dolores and Jamelia quit. The coaches for series 4 were Bressie, Una Healy, Kian Egan and Rachel Stevens. The show was hosted by Kathryn Thomas and co-hosted by Eoghan McDermott, who also presented backstage show '' The Voice After Party'' in Series 3. ''The Voice of Ireland'' is an Irish reality talent show. It began airing on 8 January 2012. It replaced ''The All Ireland Talent Show''. ''The Voice of Ireland'' aired on RTÉ One. Kathryn Thomas presented the main show, while Eoghan McDermott co-presented. Bressie, Kian Egan, Sharon Corr and Brian Kennedy were the coaches. Pat Byrne, mentored by Bressie, won the series. Auditions for this series took place at the end of 2011. The Blind Auditions took place at The Helix, Dublin, between 26 and 31 October in front of a live audience. On Thursday, 24 November and Friday, 25 November, each coach's artists performed at The Helix for The Battle Rounds. The Live Shows began on 4 March. "All Out of Love" is a song by British/Australian soft rock duo Air Supply, released as a single in 1980 from their fifth studio album '' Lost in Love''. The song was written by Graham Russell and Clive Davis. "Let Me In" is a song written by Alan Osmond, Merrill Osmond, and Wayne Osmond and performed by The Osmonds. It was featured on their 1973 album, ''The Plan''. The song was produced by Alan Osmond. Background It broke from the group's string of harder rock-sounding hits through the early 1970s and began a string in which the band began playing up their image as teen idols and began releasing love ballads as singles.
