Gasoline Particulate Filter
A diesel particulate filter (DPF) is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine.Tom Nash (May 2003) "Diesels: The Smoke is clearing", ''Motor '' Vol.199 No. 5, p. 54, Hearst Business Publishing Inc. Mode of action Wall-flow diesel particulate filters usually remove 85% or more of the soot, and under certain conditions can attain soot removal efficiencies approaching 100%. Some filters are single-use, intended for disposal and replacement once full of accumulated ash. Others are designed to burn off the accumulated particulate either passively through the use of a catalyst or by active means such as a fuel burner which heats the filter to soot combustion temperatures. This is accomplished by engine programming to run (when the filter is full) in a manner that elevates exhaust temperature, in conjunction with an extra fuel injector in the exhaust stream that injects fuel to react with a catalyst element to burn off accumul ...

OEB Package Format
Open eBook (OEB), or formally, the Open eBook Publication Structure (OEBPS), is a legacy e-book format which has been superseded by the EPUB format. It was "based primarily on technology developed by SoftBook Press". and on XML. OEB was released with a free version belonging to public domain and a full version to be used with or without DRM by the publishing industry. Open eBook is a ZIP file plus a Manifest file. Inside the package a defined subset of XHTML may be used, along with CSS and Dublin Core metadata. The default file extension is .opf (OEB Package Format). Specification release history * September 2007 – ''Open Publication Structure (OPS) 2.0, EPUB. Released, supersedes the OEBPS 1.2'' * August 2002 – ''OEBPS 1.2 Recommended Specification Released'' * June 2001 – ''OEBPS 1.0.1 replaces OEBPS 1.0'' * September 1999 – ''Open eBook Publication Structure (OEBPS) 1.0 released'' Reader software * SoftBook * Adobe Digital Editions * FBReader – GPL e-book reader for ...

OpenProject
OpenProject is a web-based project management system for location-independent team collaboration. This free open-source application is released under the GNU (General Public License) Version 3 (GPLv3) and is available as a community edition and a chargeable Enterprise Edition. Development is mostly done by OpenProject GmbH. In addition to numerous smaller OpenProject installations, there are some very large installations in global organizations with more than 2,500 projects. Features * Bug tracking * Document management * Forum * Project news * Project timelines * Issue tracking or issue management * Project management and milestones * Time tracking * Wiki OpenProject Foundation The OpenProject Foundation was established by OpenProject's developers and users in October 2012. After founding the association in April 2013, it was registered (VR 32487) in June in the register of the Amtsgericht (local court) of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (district of Berlin). The associatio ...

Optimal Power Flow
Electrical power system simulation involves power system modeling and network simulation in order to analyze electrical power systems using design/offline or real-time data. Power system simulation software's are a class of computer simulation programs that focus on the operation of electrical power systems. These types of computer programs are used in a wide range of planning and operational situations for electric power systems. Applications of power system simulation include: long-term generation and transmission expansion planning, short-term operational simulations, and market analysis (e.g. price forecasting). These programs typically make use of mathematical optimization techniques such linear programming, quadratic programming, and mixed integer programming. Multiple elements of a power system can be modelled. A power-flow study calculates the loading on transmission lines and the power necessary to be generated at generating stations, given the required loads to be serve ...

Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport
Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport (formerly Opa-locka Airport and Opa-locka Executive Airport until 2014) is a joint civil-military airport located in Miami-Dade County, Florida north of downtown Miami. Part of the airport is in the city limits of Opa-locka. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 called it a general aviation ''reliever airport''. The FAA-contract control tower is manned from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The airport has four fixed-base operators. It is owned by Miami-Dade County and operated by the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. The sole remaining military activity at the airport is Coast Guard Air Station Miami, operating from federal property not deeded to the county. It hosts EADS HC-144 Ocean Sentry turboprops; and MH-65 Dolphin helicopters for coastal patrol, deployment aboard medium endurance and high endurance coast guard cutters, and air-sea rescue. Much of CGAS Miami's facilities were built during World War II as part of Naval Air St ...
