ONE Championship
ONE Championship (formerly ONE Fighting Championship) is a Singaporean combat sports promotion. Founded on 14 July 2011 by entrepreneur Chatri Sityodtong and former ESPN Star Sports senior executive Victor Cui, its events have featured mixed martial arts (MMA), submission grappling, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Lethwei bouts. The promotion's first event was held on 3 September 2011 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium; they have since gone on to hold over 100 events across Asia. It is Asia's largest MMA promotion company, having been backed by Singapore's GIC and Temasek Holdings, in addition to ICONIQ Capital, Mission Holdings, Sequoia Capital and Greenoaks Capital. In 2020, ONE was included on Nielsen's list of the world's top 10 biggest sports media properties in terms of viewership and engagement. ''ONE 164: Pacio vs. Brooks'' was a Combat sport event produced by ONE Championship that took place on December 3, 2022, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines. Background This is a competition with two events on December 3, is ONE on Prime Video 5 and this event will mark the promotion's return to SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay for the first time since ONE: Fire & Fury in January 2020 and the event was headlined by a ONE Strawweight World Championship bout between current two-time champion Joshua Pacio and Jarred Brooks. Previously scheduled to headlined at ONE 158, but the fight was postponed due to Brooks was an injury. The ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix Tournament Final bout between Superlek Kiatmuu9 and Panpayak Jitmuangnon that took place at the event. Superlek Kiatmookao (ซุปเปอร์เล็ก เกียรติหมู่9) (born 6 November 1995) is a Thai Muay Thai fighter originally from Buriram in the northeast of Thailand. He is the current ONE Kickboxing Flyweight World Champion, he is also former two weight Lumpinee Stadium champion and the former WBC Muaythai Super featherweight World champion. He was voted the Sports Authority of Thailand 2012 Muay Thai Fighter of the Year. Superlek is from the same Muay Thai gym of his uncle and multiple-time Lumpinee Stadium champion Singdam Kiatmuu9. Superlek is a teammate of Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9. Aside from Thailand's stadium circuit, Superlek has also competed on ONE Championship. Superlek is currently ranked #2 in both the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai rankings and the ONE Flyweight Kickboxing rankings.
