''ONE Fight Night 18: Gasanov vs. Oh'' was a combat sport event produced by ONE Championship that took place on January 13, 2024, at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Background A ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship bout between current champion Superlek Kiatmuu9 and Elias Mahmoudi was expected to headline the event. However, Mahmoudi withdrew from the bout due to rib injury. Superlek was instead to face former three-divisions K-1 World Champion Takeru Segawa at ONE 165 on January 28. As a results, a featherweight bout between Shamil Gasanov and Oh Ho-taek was promoted to main event status. A bantamweight Muay Thai bout between former ONE Bantamweight Champion John Lineker, who making his Muay Thai debut against Liam Harrison was scheduled for this event. ONE Championship (formerly ONE Fighting Championship) is a Singaporean combat sports promotion. Liam "The Hitman" Harrison (born 5 October 1985) is an English welterweight Muay Thai Combatant, fighter currently fighting out of Bad Company (when based in the UK) and trains at Jitti Gym and Yokkao#YOKKAO Training Center Bangkok, Yokkao Training Center in Bangkok (when fighting in Thailand). Background Brought up in his hometown of Leeds, Liam first started training in Muay Thai aged 13, when he joined the Bad Company gym in Harehills. There he trained under Richard Smith, still his current trainer, who is a former British, Commonwealth and European kickboxing champion. Liam was large for his age and made his amateur debut aged 14, winning in a no head contact fight. He made his pro debut not much later, just before his fifteenth birthday, defeating Martin Shivnan via knockout in around 30 seconds.
