OKK Sloboda Tuzla
Omladinski košarkaški klub Sloboda, (), commonly referred to as Sloboda Tuzla, is a men's professional basketball club based in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are currently competing in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The club was founded in as KK Sloboda. Since 2011, the club has been competing under the legal name OKK Sloboda. The club is a part of the Sloboda multi-sports club. The Sloboda won 2 National League championships. They have played two different national league systems since 1946, including the Yugoslav Federal League system (1946–1992) and the Bosnian league system (1992 onward). They have also won 5 National Cup titles. A FIBA Hall of Fame member Mirza Delibašić played for the club from 1968 to 1972. Basketball Championship Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top–tier men's professional basketball league in Bosnia and Herzegovina for men and women, respectively. The league is operated by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Competition format The league is composed of 12 teams, each playing against the other eleven two times, home and away. After this portion concludes, the top six clubs are joined by the country's representatives in the Adriatic League, and enter "League 6". The best of these four teams go to the playoffs, and in the final best-of-five series, the Bosnian champion is crowned. The eight teams who do not make the playoffs go on to compete in the "relegation league," where a team's object becomes maintaining its standing and ability to play in the competition the following year. 2019–20 ABA League Second Division
The 2019–20 ABA League Second Division was the 3rd season of the ABA Second Division with 12 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia participating in it. On 12 March 2020, the ABA League Assembly temporarily suspended its competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 27 May 2020, the ABA League Assembly canceled definitely its competitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ABA League Assembly decided not to recognize any team as the champion for the season, and decided to award the two wild cards for the 2020–21 ABA First League season to Borac Čačak and Split. Mileta Lisica
Mileta Lisica ( sr-cyr, Милета Лисица; 7 October 1966 – 11 November 2020) was a Serbian-Slovenian professional basketball player. Playing career Lisica had played for the Poliester from Priboj and the KK Sloboda Tuzla, Sloboda from Tuzla before he came to the KK Crvena zvezda, Crvena zvezda. With the Zvezda he won two YUBA League titles (1993 and 1994). He spent one season at the KK Borovica, Borovica from Ruma and with them, he reached the YUBA League Playoffs Final in 1995. After that, he returned to the Zvezda and spent another season with them. Elmedin Kikanović
Elmedin Kikanović (b. 2 September 1988) is a Bosnian professional basketball player for Al Riyadi Club Beirut of the Lebanese Basketball League. He has also played for his country's national basketball team. Professional career Early career Kikanović began his career playing for Sloboda Tuzla. From 2007 until 2010, he played for Crvena zvezda, but he was suspended from play in 2010 due to doping. In June 2011, he signed with the Russian club Yenisey Krasnoyarsk. Ivan Velić
Ivan Velić (born 19 October 1972) is a Bosnian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for Široki of the Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina and ABA League Second Division. Coaching career Velić spent most of his coaching career with Široki. Borislav "Bora" Džaković ( sr-cyr, Борислав Џаковић, 24 October 1947 – 28 June 2019) was a Serbian-Bosnian professional basketball coach and player. Coaching career The greatest success of Džaković was the double crown with Partizan in the 1994–95 season.
