OFS is an American technology company known for designing and manufacturing Optical fiber, fiber optic solutions. Since the mid-2010s, the company's headquarters in Norcross, Georgia was used as a film studio. History OFS is part of Furukawa Electric Company that has been in operation since 1884. In 2001, Lucent, Lucent Technologies' Optical Fiber Solutions business was sold to Furukawa Electric Co. Ltd. The new company became OFS Fitel, LLC, headquartered in Norcross (near Atlanta), Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia, United States, USA. In 2010, OFS and Hengtong, Jiangsu Hengtong Optic-Electric Co., Ltd. established a joint venture company in China. This led to the formation of Jiangsu OFS Hengtong Optical Technology Co., Ltd. Norcross is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. The population as of the 2010 census was 9,116, while in 2020 the population was 17,209. Trilith Studios is an American film and television production studio located south of Atlanta in Fayette County, Georgia. Originally known as Pinewood Atlanta Studios, the studio has been used to produce many films and television programs, particularly those produced by Marvel Studios.
