OBE TV
OBE TV (Original Black Entertainment TV) was a British television channel launched in September 2003. It showed film, food, advertisements, sports and talk shows as well as conservative Christian programmes. The channel was aimed at African audiences and showed programmes from South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana. Its programmes were primarily taken from the South African Broadcasting Corporation, including the SABC's news broadcasts. A timeshifted service named OBE +1 launched on Thursday 29 November 2007 and it was replaced by DMAX on 8 January 2008 while the linear channel closed down permanently in 2011. DMAX (UK TV Channel)
DMAX is a British free-to-air male-oriented TV channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Discovery launched the channel in the UK and Ireland market on 8 January 2008 after its initial success in Germany. On 16 July 2015, DMAX moved from 144 to 167 on Sky, switching places with sister channel Quest. Following the re-combination of the Entertainment and Lifestyle & Culture sections of the Sky guide, Discovery relocated some of their stations on the platform, resulting in DMAX being pushed down the grid to allow Discovery Home & Health to be moved up. In the May 2018 reorganisation of the Sky main guide, DMAX moved to channel 178. On 7 January 2019, it was announced that DMAX would become a free-to-air channel and be carried on Freeview (channel number 42) and Freesat (channel number 150) from 16 January, replacing sister channel Travel Channel. Superbook
, also known as , is a Christian anime television series from the early 1980s, initially produced at Tatsunoko Productions and TV Tokyo in Japan in conjunction with the Christian Broadcasting Network in the United States, and rebooted in 2011 by CBN with Asia-Pacific region animation studios along with locally based partners like Tokyo MX and Word of Life Press Ministries in Japan.
