Nyangoma
Major Christine Nyangoma, is a senior Ugandan military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF). She is the Commander of the UPDF Women’s Unit in Somalia, as part of the African Unions force, AMISOM. Background She was born on 1 January 1967, in Kabarole District, in the Western Region of Uganda. She attended Kazingo Primary School for her elementary schooling. She transferred to Mpanga Secondary School in Fort Portal for her secondary school studies. While there, she was recruited in the National Resistance Army (NRA), joining the Ugandan Bush War, circa 1982. Edith Nakalema
Colonel Edith Nakalema, is a Ugandan military officer, who graduated in August 2018 from the Higher Command and Staff Course at the Joint Services Command and Staff College, in Watchfield, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, where she had been admitted in 2017. Background and education She was born in Kashaari Village, Mbarara District in the Western Region of Uganda, to Midrace Sserwadda, a housewife and Eriyasafu Sserwadda, an Anglican parish priest. Annette Nkalubo
Colonel Annette Nkalubo, is a senior Ugandan military officer. She is the second highest-ranking military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF). Education Nkalubo holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University, She also holds a Diploma in Legal Practice obtained from the Law Development Centre, also in Kampala. Career Nkalubo, while at the rank of lieutenant, served as a Member of Parliament, representing the UPDF in the 6th parliament (1996 to 2001). Proscovia Nalweyiso, is a senior Ugandan military officer in the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF). At the rank of lieutenant general, she is the highest ranking female officer, in the Ugandan military. Background She was born in June 1954, in Mpigi District, in a family with 20 children. In 1979, she began work as a schoolteacher and typist in her home area. During his period, she became an active member of the Ugandan Democratic Party. Rwenzururu is a Administrative division, subnational kingdom in western Uganda, located in the Rwenzori Mountains on the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
