Nurtai Abykayev
Nurtai Abykayev ( kk, Нұртай Әбіқайұлы Әбіқаев, translit=Nūrtai Äbıqaiūly Äbıqaev; born 15 May 1947) is a Kazakh politician who was the chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan from August 2010 to December 2015 and from September 1998 to August 1999. Previously he was Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Russia and before this chair of the Senate of Kazakhstan from 2004 to 2007. He is a long-time friend and assistant to President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and is viewed as the leader of one of the political "clans" that make up Kazakhstan's elite.Kazakhstan: Abikaev Is Suddenly The Number-Two Man

The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) is a federal state-funded institution of higher education located in Moscow, Russia. With the merger of ANE, RAPA, 12 other regional civil service academies in 2010, the newly formed Russian Presidential Academy became one of the larger socioeconomic and humanities universities in Russia and Europe. Almaty (; kk, Алматы; ), formerly known as Alma-Ata ( kk, Алма-Ата), is the largest city in Kazakhstan, with a population of about 2 million. is a Kazakh politician who served as Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan 1999 to 2002 and 2012 to 2016. In June 2002, his Foreign Ministership ended. He became the Kazakh ambassador to the United Kingdom. After serving in London, Idrissov assumed the role of Ambassador to the United States in July 2007.
