The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom is the official representative of the President and the Government of Kazakhstan to the Government of the United Kingdom. The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on 19 January 1992 while the Kazakh Embassy was opened in February 1996. Erlan Abilfayizuly Idrissov ( kk, Ерлан Әбілфайызұлы Ыдырысов, tr, Erlan Äbılfaiyzūly Ydyrysov, ; born 28 April 1959) RULERS is a Kazakh politician who served as Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan 1999 to 2002 and 2012 to 2016.
