Nurgush
Nurgush (russian: Нургуш; ba, Нөргөш) is a mountain range in Satkinsky District, western part of Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russian Federation.Google Earth The range is within the protected area of the Zyuratkul National Park. The name of the mountain in the Bashkir language means "luminous bird". Geography Nurgush is a subrange of the Urals. It stretches roughly from SSW to NNE for in the southern section of the long Ural chain. The range stretches between the southern shore of lake Zyuratkul to the mouth of river Berezyak. The highest point is high, rising in the Bolshoy Nurgush section located in the northern part. Maly Nurgush is the southern section. Chelyabinsk Oblast (russian: Челя́бинская о́бласть, ''Chelyabinskaya oblast'') is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia in the Ural Mountains region, on the border of Europe and Asia. Southern Ural - the south, the widest part of the Ural Mountains, stretches from the river Ufa (near the village of Lower Ufaley) to the Ural River. Zyuratkul National Park
Zyuratkul National Park (russian: Зюраткуль (национальный парк)) is a Russian national park established in 1993 in the southern part of Satkinsky Raion (Chelyabinsk Oblast, Urals). The park lies about 30 km south of Satka and 200 km west of Chelyabinsk. Description Notable features include Zyuratkul lake, a rare mountainous body of water for the Urals 754 m above sea level, with a surface area of 13,2 km2 and a maximum depth of 8 m. Water is slightly mineralised (≈50 mg/L). Because of its clear water and spectacular landscape around, Zyuratkul' is often called "Ural Ritsa". Also remarkable is a number of mountain ranges, among them Zyuratkul' range (8 km in length, rising 1175 m in its highest point). Mountain Tundra
Alpine tundra is a type of natural region or biome that does not contain trees because it is at high elevation, with an associated harsh climate. As the latitude of a location approaches the poles, the threshold elevation for alpine tundra gets lower until it reaches sea level, and alpine tundra merges with polar tundra. The high elevation causes an adverse climate, which is too cold and windy to support tree growth.
