''Nu-Mixx Klazzics'' is a remix album by American rapper Tupac Shakur, 2Pac, released in 2003 under Death Row Records and Koch Records. The album includes several songs from ''All Eyez on Me'' and ''The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory'', with remixed instrumentals and new guest vocals from artists such as Crooked I (replacing Snoop Dogg on the "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted" remix), Aaron Hall (singer), Aaron Hall, K-Ci & JoJo, and Danny Boy (rapper), Danny Boy. ''Nu-Mixx Klazzics'' was generally disliked by critics upon its release. The remixes were criticized for being another Death Row 'cash in' featuring low quality versions of the original tracks. Tupac Amaru Shakur ( ; born Lesane Parish Crooks, June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996), also known as 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper. He is widely considered one of the most influential rappers of all time. Shakur is among the best-selling music artists, having sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Much of Shakur's music has been noted for addressing contemporary social issues that plagued inner cities, and he is considered a symbol of activism against inequality. K-Ci & JoJo
K-Ci & JoJo is an American R&B duo, consisting of brothers Cedric "K-Ci" Hailey (born September 2, 1969) and Joel "JoJo" Hailey (born June 10, 1971). Natives of Monroe, North Carolina, they are also the lead singers of the chart-topping R&B group Jodeci with the DeGrate brothers—Donald (better known as DeVante Swing) and Mr. Dalvin. "Hit 'Em Up" is a diss track by hip hop music, hip hop artist 2Pac, featuring the Outlawz. It is the B-side to the single "How Do U Want It", released on June 4, 1996. The song's lyrics contain vicious insults to several East Coast hip hop, East Coast rappers, chiefly Shakur's former friend turned rival, the The Notorious B.I.G., Notorious B.I.G. (also referred to colloquially as Biggie Smalls). The song was recorded at Can Am Studios in 1996. A previous version of the song was recorded in October 1995. Daniel Steward (born October 31, 1977), better known as Danny Boy, is an American R&B/soul singer. Career Danny Boy originally signed for a five-year run with Death Row Records by Suge Knight at the age of 16. He made his debut on 1994's ''Murder Was the Case'' soundtrack with the R&B track "Come When I Call" (produced by DJ Quik). In 1995, he released his first single titled "Slip N Slide" (produced by Reggie Moore and co-produced by DeVante Swing) with then-unknown artist Ginuwine singing the chorus. The video for the song was shot in Cabo, and also features scenes with 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Tha Dogg Pound. "Toss It Up" is a song by rapper Tupac Shakur from his fifth studio album, '' The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory'' (1996). Released under the stage name Makaveli, the song served as the lead single to the posthumous album. It was first released in the United States just under two weeks after his death, peaking at number thirty-three on the R&B singles chart. The song is known for including a diss toward Dr. Dre and instrumentally being very similar to Dre's production on the song "No Diggity". It features vocals and singing from Aaron Hall, Danny Boy, and K-Ci & JoJo. The single release altered slightly to the version found on the album. Tyruss Gerald Himes (November 22, 1968 – December 5, 2016), better known by his stage names Big Syke and Mussolini, was an American rapper best known for his work with the American hip-hop groups Thug Life and Outlawz. His stage name "Big Syke" is a revision of his childhood nickname "Little Psycho". He died at his home in Hawthorne, California on December 5, 2016. Career In 1990, Big Syke and fellow rappers Domino and Mental Illness started a hip-hop group named Evil Mind Gangstas.
