Novine Srbske
''Novine'' ( en, The Paper), is a Croatian drama series that has been broadcast on Hrvatska Radiotelevizija since 2016. The screenplay for it was written by Ivica Đikić, a journalist who had served as editor-in-chief of Rijeka's '' Novi list'' several years earlier. The story takes place in Rijeka, that describes the life and work of a journalist and editor of a fictitious ''Novine'', which is considered to be the last independent and "serious" newspaper in Croatia, that is the temptation that leads to them being taken over by the "raw" but power-bound construction tycoon, whose character is interpreted by Aleksandar Cvjetković. The series, which was also mostly filmed in Rijeka, was directed by Dalibor Matanić. Ivica Đikić is a Bosnian writer and journalist. He was born 1977, in Tomislavgrad, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia. Goran Marković ( sr-cyr, Горан Марковић, ) (born 24 August 1946) is a Serbian film and theatre director, screenwriter, writer, and playwright. He has directed approximately 50 documentaries, 13 feature films, and 3 theatre plays. He has also written five books. Marković is one of the few directors from the former Yugoslavia credited with popularizing Yugoslav films, as well as achieving success domestically and internationally. Dragan Despot (born 14 July 1956) is a Croatian actor. He has appeared in more than twenty films since 1979. Despot graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art at the University of Zagreb, where his teacher was Tonko Lonza in 1981. In 1983 he joined Croatian National Theatre in Mostar and the same year performed at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. Prior to acting, Despot was a fan of football and loved watching players such as Dušan Bajević, Enver Marić, Franjo Vladić and especially Slaven Zambata. Trpimir Jurkić
Trpimir I (, la, Trepimerus/Trepimero) was a duke ( hr, knez) in Croatia from around 845 until his death in 864. He is considered the founder of the Trpimirović dynasty that ruled in Croatia, with interruptions, from around 845 until 1091. Although he was formally vassal of the Frankish Emperor Lothair I, Trpimir used Frankish-Byzantine conflicts to rule on his own. Reign Trpimir succeeded Croatia's Duke Mislav around 845, ascended the throne in Klis and expanded the early Roman stronghold into Klis Fortress, the capital of his domain. Trpimir battled successfully against his neighbours, the Byzantine coastal cities under the strategos of Zadar in 846.
