Nova Haleshchyna
Nova Haleshchyna ( uk, Нова Галещина' russian: Новая Галещина) is a rural settlement in Kremenchuk Raion, Poltava Oblast, Ukraine. It is located on the left bank of the Rydka, a left tributary of the Psel in the drainage basin of the Dnieper. Nova Haleshchyna hosts the administration of Nova Haleshchyna settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: History Until 18 July 2020, Nova Haleshchyna belonged to Kozelshchyna Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Poltava Oblast to four. The area of Kozelshchyna Raion was merged into Kremenchuk Raion. Until 26 January 2024, Nova Haleshchyna was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Nova Haleshchyna became a rural settlement. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. Highway M22 (Ukraine)
Highway M22 is a Ukrainian international highway ( M-highway) which connects Oleksandriia, Kremenchuk, and Poltava across Dnieper river. The highway also connects two major transnational corridors that run along European route E50 and European route E40. Kremenchuk (; uk, Кременчу́к, Kremenchuk ) is an industrial city in central Ukraine which stands on the banks of the Dnipro River. The city serves as the administrative center of the Kremenchuk Raion (district) in Poltava Oblast (province). Nova Haleshchyna Settlement Hromada
A nova (plural novae or novas) is a transient astronomical event that causes the sudden appearance of a bright, apparently "new" star (hence the name "nova", which is Latin for "new") that slowly fades over weeks or months. Causes of the dramatic appearance of a nova vary, depending on the circumstances of the two progenitor stars. All observed novae involve white dwarfs in close binary systems.
