Nottuln-Appelhülsen Station
Nottuln-Appelhülsen is a station in Appelhülsen, a suburb of the municipality of Nottuln, in the district of Coesfeld in the German state of Nordrhein-Westfalen. History The Cologne-Minden Railway Company (''Köln-Mindener Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft'', CME) received a concession to build the railway from Wanne to Osnabrück on 28 May 1866. This was part of the Hamburg–Venlo railway, which in turn was part of an international Paris–Hamburg railway. On 1 January 1870, the CME commenced passenger services on the first section between ''Wanne'' station (now Wanne-Eickel Hauptbahnhof) and ''Münster'' station (now Münster (Westfalen) Hauptbahnhof) on its trunk line. Appelhülsen station was opened at the same time. The importance of the station for the transport of passengers and freight in Appelhülsen and the surrounding area was so great that it was classified as a second class station. Rheinhausen Station
Rheinhausen station is located in the Duisburg suburb of Rheinhausen in the Lower Rhine region of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It lies on the Duisburg-Ruhrort–Mönchengladbach railway and is the starting point of the Lower Rhine Railway towards Xanten. Recklinghausen Süd station is located in the city of Recklinghausen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Wanne-Eickel–Hamburg line. Recklinghausen Hauptbahnhof
Recklinghausen Hauptbahnhof is a railway station for the city of Recklinghausen in Germany. History The original station opened in 1870 by the Cologne-Minden Railway Company as part of the construction of the Hamburg-Venlo railway. During the Second World War, on April 1, 1945, a heavy bombing raid mostly destroyed the station and tracks. It is commemorated by the bunker built next to the station, in which the Kunsthalle Recklinghausen was established in 1950. An outstanding feature of the architecture of the station building with its glass front is now the clock tower. The new bus station was built in 1998.
