''Our Story'' (original title: ''Notre histoire'', also known as ''Separate Rooms'') is a 1984 French drama film starring Alain Delon and Nathalie Baye. Plot Alone in a first-class compartment of a train from Geneva to Paris, a man is reading a motor magazine and drinking beer. A woman enters, challenges him to make love, and afterwards gets out at the next stop. Following her, he takes her to a hotel for a further bout and afterwards hires a car to drive her to her empty home. He is Robert Avranches, a well-off garage owner with a wife and two little children, and she is Donatienne Pouget, a 33-year-old divorcee whose two children have been removed because of her lifestyle. When he says he'd like to stay with her, she says she is going dancing and returns late at night with a carload of friends from the night club. Bertrand Blier
Bertrand Blier (; born 14 March 1939) is a French film director and writer. His 1978 film ''Get Out Your Handkerchiefs'' won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 51st Academy Awards. He is the son of famous French actor Bernard Blier. His 1996 film ''Mon Homme'' was entered into the 46th Berlin International Film Festival. His 2005 film ''How Much Do You Love Me?'' was entered into the 28th Moscow International Film Festival where he won the Silver George for Best Director. A defence of Blier's work until 2000 was written by Sue Harris, Queen Mary College, London and published in 2001 by Manchester University Press. Personal life With his former wife Françoise, to whom he was married for twenty years, he has a daughter named Béatrice. He also has a son, Léonard, born 1993, with actress Anouk Grinberg. César Awards
The César Award is the national film award of France. It is delivered in the ' ceremony and was first awarded in 1976. The nominations are selected by the members of twelve categories of filmmaking professionals and supported by the French Ministry of Culture. The nationally televised award ceremony is held in Paris each year in February. The exact location has changed over the years (in the Théâtre du Châtelet from 2002 to 2016). It is an initiative of the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, which was founded in 1975.
