James Havelock Harding
James Havelock Harding, was a master shipwright and shipbuilder who worked at Shelburne, Nova Scotia. He was born in Queens County, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1883. origins Four Harding Brothers arrived in Shelburne as United Empire Loyalist. Three of the brothers had kids. One of these, Jasper Hard, was James Harding's great grandfather. Jasper Harding was born in 1748 in Ireland. He married Elizabeth Hanson from Delaware in 1786. They had several children. Luxton Lake is a lake in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, Canada, within Kejimkujik National Park and is the site of an abandoned sawmill and former hiking trail. Geography The lake is drained by Luxton Brook which flows northeast from the lake into the West River. Luxton Lake contains two small islands. The lake is inside Kejimkujik National Park's Designated Wilderness Area, the most protected habitat of the park. Kejimkujik National Park
Kejimkujik National Park () is a National Park of Canada, covering in the southwest of Nova Scotia peninsula. Located within three municipalities, Annapolis, Queens, Digby, it consists of two separate land areas: an inland part, which is coincident with the Kejimkujik National Historic Site of Canada, and the Kejimkujik National Park Seaside on the Atlantic coast. The Historic site is a cultural landscape forested upland plain between the South Shore and the Annapolis Valley. In it is found petroglyph sites, habitation sites, fishing and hunting sites, travel routes and burial grounds, which attest to Mi’kmaq occupancy of this area for thousands of years. The seaside part is a wilderness protection area featuring coastal bogs, beaches, intertidal areas, and abundant flora and fauna.
