Northern Districts Cricket Club
The Northern Districts Cricket Club ("Jets") is a semi-professional cricket club in Adelaide, South Australia. It competes in the South Australian Grade Cricket Competition, which is administered by the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA). The club entered the SACA competition in season 1997/98 as the result of the amalgamation of the Elizabeth and Salisbury District Cricket Clubs. In 2004/05 the Jets won the SACA Grade Competition premiership. The club has also won the West End Cup (one-day competition) in 1998/99, the inaugural 20 x 20 SACA competition in 2003/04 and again in 2009/10 The club has produced test players Darren Lehmann, Peter Sleep and recently Graham Manou and Ryan Harris (cricketer), Ryan Harris. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side either catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground, or hitting a wicket with the ball before a batter can cross the crease in front of the wicket. Mervyn Westfield
Mervyn Simon Westfield (born 5 May 1988 in Romford, Greater London) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who until September 2010 played for Essex. In January 2012, he became the first English cricketer to be convicted of spot-fixing, after admitting accepting £6,000 in exchange for bowling an over that was supposed to concede 12 runs. Essex career Westfield played for the first time for Essex in the 2005 County Championship against Durham. He made one appearance in the Second XI Championship before the end of the season, and in 2006, played three matches as Essex finished third in Division Two of the 2006 County Championship. South Australian Grade Cricket Clubs

Salisbury, South Australia
Salisbury is a northern suburb in Adelaide, South Australia. It is the seat of the City of Salisbury, and in the South Australian Legislative Assembly electoral district of Ramsay and the Australian House of Representatives division of Spence. Ben Cox
Oliver Benjamin Cox (born 2 February 1992) is an English cricketer who plays county cricket for Worcestershire as right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. Cox has been associated with Worcestershire for some years, having played at Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 level, although not originally as a wicket-keeper. He captained the Under-17 side against Somerset U-17s in July 2009, scoring exactly 100. Cox was called up to make his first-class debut, aged 17, in Worcestershire's penultimate County Championship match of 2009, against Somerset at Taunton. In Birmingham league cricket, Pardoe plays for Kidderminster Victoria.
