Matt Pardoe
Matthew Graham Pardoe (born 5 January 1991) is an English cricketer. A left-handed opening/middle order batsman, he played for Worcestershire. In Birmingham league cricket, Pardoe plays for Kidderminster Victoria. He went to Haybridge High School and having progressed through Worcestershire's academy system and played for Worcestershire's Second XI, Pardoe made his first-class debut against Yorkshire at New Road, Worcester at the start of the 2011 season, scoring 26 and 0. In his second first-class match, against Warwickshire at New Road, he scored 54, his maiden first-class half-century. He went on to make his second half century against Nottinghamshire finishing on 74 before being caught off the bowling of Samit Patel. Pardoe scored his maiden first-class century against Glamorgan in a county championship game in 2013 scoring 102 off 235 balls before being caught off the bowling of Dean Cosker. Stourbridge is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the West Midlands, England, situated on the River Stour. Kidderminster Victoria Cricket Club
Kidderminster Cricket Club is a cricket club in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, England. Their 1st and 2nd XIs currently play in the Birmingham and District Premier League Premier Division. Their 3rd, 4th and 5th XIs play in the Worcestershire County Cricket League. The club play their home games at Chester Road, a venue which has also hosted Worcestershire County Cricket Club matches. Kidderminster are one of the longest-serving members of the Birmingham and District League, having joined in 1895. They won the Division 1 title in 1899, 1901, 1924, 1929, 1946, 1950, 1962 and 1975. Minor Counties Cricket
The National Counties, known as the Minor Counties before 2020, are the cricketing counties of England and Wales that do not have first-class status. The game is administered by the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA), which comes under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). There are currently twenty teams in National Counties cricket: nineteen representing historic counties of England, plus the Wales National County Cricket Club. Of the 39 historic counties of England, 17 have a first-class county cricket team (the 18th first-class county is Glamorgan in Wales) and 18 participate in the National Counties championship. Dean Cosker
Dean Andrew Cosker (born 7 January 1978) is an English former cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm slow bowler who played for Glamorgan. He has played in first-class, List A and Twenty20 cricket. He attended Millfield School in Somerset between 1991 and 1996. He made his first-class debut in 1996 against Lancashire at Cardiff taking 6 wickets in the match. Soon after Cosker toured with England Under-19 cricket team in their tour of Pakistan. In 1997 he was given a longer run in the Glamorgan side as Robert Croft was playing for England. Cosker spent the next couple of winters touring with the England A squad to East Africa, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Samit Rohit Patel (born 30 November 1984) is an English cricketer. A right-handed batsman and a slow left-arm bowler, he plays first-class cricket for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. Patel made his One Day International debut for England in August 2008, however was later dropped from the side after failing to meet fitness levels. After an absence of years, he returned to the ODI side in 2011 and made his Twenty20 International debut, before becoming the 651st player to represent England at Test cricket by winning his first cap on the tour of Sri Lanka in 2012.
