Norman Page (born in Nottingham, Nottinghamshiredied 4 July 1935 in London) was a British actor. He is best known for his portrayal of David Lloyd George, Prime Minister during the First World War, in the 1918 film ''The Life Story of David Lloyd George'', which is believed to be the first ever feature length political biopic. Nottingham ( , East Midlands English, locally ) is a city status in the United Kingdom, city and Unitary authorities of England, unitary authority area in Nottinghamshire, East Midlands, England. ''The Sign of Four'' is a 1923 British silent mystery film directed by Maurice Elvey and starring Eille Norwood, Isobel Elsom and Fred Raynham. The film is based on the 1890 novel ''The Sign of the Four'' by Arthur Conan Doyle, and was one of Sherlock Holmes (Stoll film series), a series of Sherlock Holmes films starring Norwood.
