Port Adelaide is a port-side region of Adelaide, approximately northwest of the Adelaide CBD. Graham Gunn
Graham McDonald Gunn, Order of Australia, AM (born 5 September 1942), was an Australian politician who was a member of the South Australian House of Assembly. A member of the Liberal Party of Australia (South Australian Division), Liberal Party, he represented the electorate of Electoral district of Eyre (South Australia), Eyre from 1970 to 1997, and the electorate of electoral district of Stuart, Stuart from 1997 to 2010. By the final years of his parliamentary career, Gunn had become the longest-serving member of any parliament in Australia. After attending Adelaide's Scotch College, Adelaide, Scotch College, Gunn pursued a career as a farmer and grazier in the Mount Cooper area. John Trainer
John Patrick Trainer (born 24 March 1943) is a former Australian politician. Trainer was educated at Rostrevor College 1956–1960 on a scholarship, then Adelaide University and Adelaide Teacher's College. He taught at Brighton High School and Underdale High school before being appointed in the Educational Technology Centre of the SA Education Department as a Senior Adviser. He unsuccessfully contested the 1974 Federal election as the Australian Labor Party candidate in the safe Liberal seat of Boothby. Trainer represented Labor in the seats of Ascot Park from 1979 to 1985 and Walsh from 1985 to 1993 in the South Australian House of Assembly. He served as Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1986 to 1990 for the John Bannon Labor government. He also served as government whip from 1982 to 1985 and from 1989 to 1993. Kent Town is an inner suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters. History Kent Town was named for Dr. Benjamin Archer Kent (1808 – 25 November 1864), a medical practitioner of Walsall, Staffordshire, who emigrated to South Australia aboard ''Warrior'', arriving in April 1840 with his wife Marjory Redman Kent, née Bonnar, and two children, Benjamin Andrew Kent, and Graham Eliza Kent, who in 1848 married Dr Frederick Charles Bayer (died 15 August 1867). Hydraulic engineer C. A. Bayer and architect E. H. Bayer were sons.
