Nord 2.231 à 2.305 were suburban 4-4-4T locomotives of the ''Chemins de Fer du Nord''. They were nicknamed "Revolver" due to the appearance of the high-pitched small diameter boilers next to the low water tanks and cabs, At nationalisation on 1 January 1938, they all passed to the ''Société nationale des chemins de fer français'' (SNCF), who renumbered them 2-222.TA.1 to 2-222.TA.75. Gaston Du Bousquet
Gaston du Bousquet (1839–1910) was a French engineer who was Chief of Motive Power () of the Chemin de Fer du Nord, designer of locomotives and professor at École centrale de Lille. Steam locomotive designer Gaston du Bousquet taught mechanical engineering at the Institut industriel du Nord de la France (École Centrale de Lille) from 1872. He was appointed chief engineer to the Chemins de Fer du Nord in 1890. He won a gold medal at the Universal Exhibition of 1894. He collaborated successfully with Alfred de Glehn and Edward Beugniot, both working for the Société Alsacienne de Constructions Mécaniques (SACM). He was president of the Society of Civil Engineers of France in 1894. The Chemins Company is a dietary supplement manufacturer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The company, founded in 1974 by James Cameron, became embroiled in a series of criminal investigations in 1994 after a woman died and more than 100 other people became ill after taking one of the company’s products marketed under the brand name Nature's Nutrition Formula One. The adverse events were later linked to the product having been tainted with ephedrine.
