Danish School Of Journalism
Danish School of Media and Journalism ( da, Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole), or DMJX for short, is a Danish organization for higher education in, and a knowledge centre of, media and journalism. DMJX has two campuses; one in Copenhagen and one in Aarhus. In 2004, DMJX and Aarhus University established the Centre for University Studies in Journalism, which offers master's courses at university level. Campuses Danish School of Media and Journalism is a fusion of two formerly independent organizations and institutions in Aarhus and Copenhagen in January 2008. The Aarhus department is known as The Danish School of Journalism (''Danmarks Journalisthøjskole'', or DJH) and was established in 1946. In 1973, the school moved its address to Christiansbjerg, and it moved to its current location on Katrinebjerg in 2020. ''Degrassi Junior High'' is a Canadian television series and the second series in the ''Degrassi'' franchise created by Kit Hood and Linda Schuyler. A successor but not a direct spin-off of ''The Kids of Degrassi Street'', it debuted on CBC on 18 January 1987 and ended after three seasons on 27 February 1989. The series also debuted on PBS in the United States on 26 September 1987 and ended there on 15 April 1989. A non-union production by Hood and Schuyler's Playing With Time, Inc, Kate Taylor of WGBH Boston also served as the show's executive producer, and the series was produced in association with the United States Corporation for Public Broadcasting with participation of Telefilm Canada. German Youth Hostel Association
The German Youth Hostel Association (german: Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk) or DJH is a not-for-profit, registered association (''eingetragener Verein''). It was founded in 1919 to create an organized network of affordable and safe accommodation away from home for travelling school and youth groups and individuals all over the country. Today, the 438 youth hostels in the association still cater to school and youth groups but are also open to anyone else looking for an alternative to hotels - families, backpackers, business travellers, etc. Through the state (''Bundesland'') associations it is the representative of the 438 youth hostels in Germany (as at 2021) and thus the largest member of the international youth association, Hostelling International (HI).
