Nobuyuki Oda
, also known as , was the son of Oda Nobuhide and younger brother of Oda Nobunaga, who lived during the Sengoku period of Japan. Nobuyuki conspired against his brother Nobunaga with the Hayashi clan (Owari), which Nobunaga viewed as treason. Nobuyuki's Suemori Castle was reduced by Ikeda Nobuteru. Nobuyuki was pardoned, however in 1558 it was discovered that he had been planning yet another revolt and Nobuyuki was executed. Suemori Castle
is a former Japanese castle located in Nagoya. It was originally outside the city of Nagoya in the countryside of the Owari Province. Lord Oda Nobuhide (1508-1549) built this castle in 1548. The following year, his third son Oda Nobuyuki (d. 1557) became the castle's lord, but was defeated at the Battle of Inogahara, where he fought against his older brother Oda Nobunaga (1534-1582). It is assumed that the castle was subsequently abandoned in 1559 and fell into ruins. A stone stelae marks the site of the castle. The area today is overgrown with trees. Located on the premises is the Shiroyama Hachiman-gū. Oda Nobutoki
or Hidetoshi was born the sixth son of Oda Nobuhide, a feudal warlord in Owari Province, Japan, during the Sengoku period. Tsuda Nobuzumi
was a Japanese samurai and member of the main Oda clan of Owari Province during the Sengoku and Azuchi–Momoyama periods. Nobuzumi was the son of Oda Nobuyuki, thus making the famed Oda Nobunaga his uncle. In 1579, Tsuda Nobuzumi led a requisition unit into the inner citadel of Arioka castle, drawing to an end the Siege of Itami against Araki Murashige. In 1581, at the second Tenshō Iga War, he and Oda Nobukatsu led 10,000 men entering Iga province from Ise (Aoyama Pass) to the southeast. After the Incident at Honnō-ji in 1582, Nobuzumi came under the suspicion of Oda Nobutaka of collaboration with Akechi Mitsuhide, largely because of his marriage with Mitsuhide's daughter. Due to this guilt by association, Nobutaka had Nobuzumi killed. Oinu
Oinu (お犬, died September 24, 1582) was a Japanese historical figure and a member of the prominent Oda clan in the Sengoku period. She was the daughter of Oda Nobuhide and the younger sister of Oda Nogunaga, one of the leading figures of the Sengoku period Japan. She is commonly known as Oinu no Kata (お犬の方), "no Kata" indicating her status as an official wife. Life Oinu was the eighth daughter of daimyo Oda Nobuhide. She was the younger sister of Oda Nobunaga and the elder sister of Oichi. Oinu initially married Saji Nobukata, Lord of Ōno Castle, who ruled the western part of Chita in Owari Province. The two had two children, Saji Kazunari and Nakagawa Hideyasu. In 1574, Nobukata was killed in battle during the Sieges of Nagashima, and Oinu returned to her parents' home. Oichi
was a female historical figure in the late Sengoku period. She is known primarily as the mother of three daughters who became prominent figures in their own right – Yodo-dono, Ohatsu Nagamasa had no hope of winning, and chose to commit seppuku. Oichi and her daughters remained in the Oda family's care for the next decade. After Nobunaga was assassinated in 1582, his sons and vassals broke into two major factions, led by two of Nobunaga's favored generals, Shibata Katsuie and Hideyoshi. Nobunaga's third son, Nobutaka, belonged to the former group, and arranged for his aunt Oichi to marry Katsuie in order to ensure his loyalty to the Oda clan. But in 1583, Katsuie was defeated by Hideyoshi in the Battle of Shizugatake, forcing him to retreat to his home at Kitanosho Castle.
