No Shame (Pepper Album)
''No Shame'' is the fourth album and major label debut by Hawaiian band Pepper. Released on October 3, 2006 through Atlantic Records, it features production from Producer and Songwriter Zach Barnhorst, Nick Hexum of 311, Tony Kanal of No Doubt, and Sublime producer Paul Leary. They recorded a video for the first single, "No Control". The album was re-released in Japan on July 9, 2008 on Powerslave Records, and includes two bonus tracks and a DVD featuring music videos for "No Control" and "Your Face." Paul Leary
Paul Leary Walthall (born May 7, 1957), known as Paul Leary, is an American musician and music producer from Austin, Texas, best known as the lead guitarist and occasional lead vocalist for the American rock band Butthole Surfers. He is also the producer of a number of songs and albums by other bands, including U2, Sublime, Meat Puppets, Daniel Johnston, The Reverend Horton Heat, Pepper, Maggie Walters, Bad Livers, Slightly Stoopid, The Refreshments, Tumbledryer Babies, and Sludge Buzzard. Leary produced Sublime with Rome's debut album, '' Yours Truly''. In 1991, Leary released a solo album entitled ''The History of Dogs''. In 1994, he appeared on the song "Lounge Fly" from the multi-platinum album ''Purple'' by Stone Temple Pilots. He also performed backing vocals on the Meat Puppets and Bad Livers respective renditions of his song "Pee Pee the Sailor". ''Powerslave'' is the fifth studio album by the English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 3 September 1984 through EMI Records in Europe and its sister label Capitol Records in North America. It was re-released by Sanctuary and Columbia Records in the United States in 2002. The album's cover artwork is notable for its Ancient Egypt theme. That theme, taken from the title track, was carried over to the album's supporting tour, the World Slavery Tour. This began in Warsaw, Poland, on 9 August 1984; it is widely regarded as being the band's longest and most arduous tour to date, and led to the live album ''Live After Death''. The release contains a musical re-telling of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's ''The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'', the lyrics of which include some lines from the poem. Sublime (band)
Sublime was an American reggae rock and ska punk band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. The band's line-up, consistent throughout its duration, consisted of Bradley Nowell (vocals and guitar), Eric Wilson (bass), and Bud Gaugh (drums). Lou Dog, Nowell's dalmatian, was the mascot of the band. Nowell died of a heroin overdose in 1996, resulting in the band's breakup. No Doubt
No Doubt is an American rock band from Anaheim, California, formed in 1986. For most of their career, the band has consisted of vocalist Gwen Stefani, guitarist Tom Dumont, bassist Tony Kanal, and drummer Adrian Young. Since the mid-1990s, they were supported by trombonist and keyboardist Gabrial McNair and trumpeter and keyboardist Stephen Bradley in live performances. Though their 1992 eponymous debut album failed to make an impact, its ska punk–inspired follow-up ''The Beacon Street Collection'' sold over 100,000 copies in 1995, over triple that of its predecessor. 311 (pronounced "three eleven") is an American rock band from Omaha, Nebraska. The band was formed in 1988 by vocalist and guitarist Nick Hexum, lead guitarist Jim Watson, bassist Aaron "P-Nut" Wills, and drummer Chad Sexton. Watson was replaced by Tim Mahoney in 1990. In 1992, Doug "SA" Martinez joined to sing and provide turntables. 311 has released thirteen studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, four EPs and four DVDs. After a series of independent releases, 311 was signed to Capricorn Records in 1992 and released the albums ''Music'' (1993) and '' Grassroots'' (1994) to moderate success.
