Niue High School
Niue High School (Mata Ki Luga) is a secondary school in Alofi, the capital city of Niue. It is located on the Alofi- Liku Road and, as of 2010, has 175 students in attendance. The school caters for years 7 to 13 (ages 11–18). Within the school is the Paliati Grounds, which reportedly has a capacity of 1,000 and is where Niuean association football teams play. Alofi
Alofi is the capital of the Pacific Ocean island nation of Niue. With a population of 597 in 2017, Alofi has the distinction of being the second smallest national capital city in terms of population (after Ngerulmud, capital of Palau). Niue
Niue (, ; niu, Niuē) is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean, northeast of New Zealand. Niue's land area is about and its population, predominantly Polynesian, was about 1,600 in 2016. Liku, Niue
Liku is one of the fourteen villages of Niue, located close to the easternmost part of the island. It lies due east of the capital, Alofi, and its population at the 2017 census was 98. Geography Liku is connected to the capital by a road which traverses the centre of the island. It is also - along with Lakepa, six kilometres to the north and Hakupu, 10 kilometres to the south - one of three villages on the east coast road which connects Vaiea in the south with Mutalau on the north coast. The Paliati Grounds (also known as the Niue High School Oval) is the multi-use national stadium of the Pacific Island nation of Niue. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000 spectators. The Niue Assembly ( niu, Niue Fono Ekepule) is the legislature of Niue. It consists of 20 members; 14 representatives of the villages and 6 elected on a common roll.
